Amboseli National Reserve
Wildlife safari to one of Kenya’s renowned National Reserves, completed with a true ‘City in the sun’ experience.
Day 01: Nairobi – Amboseli
Depart Nairobi from your residence at 0800hrs in the morning and travel to the Amboseli National reserve where you get the chance of viewing the stunning views Mt. Kilimanjaro Africa’s highest peak, shadowing vast herds of massive elephants. Arrive in time for late lunch before afternoon siesta and evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at a camp.
Day 02: Amboseli
After breakfast you will depart for your morning game drive before having a picnic lunch and continuing for an afternoon game drive. This park is termed as an Animal’s paradise and is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants as well as huge herds of wildebeests and many other animals. Also get a chance to visit the Maasai village and learn their rich culture. During your visit to the village you have the chance to interact with them and see firsthand how life is in the ‘Manyatta’ as well as their cultural dances and stories which will highlight your evening over a nice bonfire.
Day 03: Amboseli – Nairobi
At 0545hrs wake up for an early morning game drive at 0600hrs (coffee and tea will be served).This drive takes you around the park and gives you the chance for marvelous photography and game watching. You will then return t camp for breakfast after which you will embark on your return drive to Nairobi with drop off at your residence.
Day 04: Nairobi (3-5hrs)
After around 9am begin your tout through Nairobi city that covers the main areas of interest in the city like the colorful city market and shopping bazaars, the historic areas like the Parliament buildings and railway museum. In the afternoon walk down to the National Museum for lunch before spending some time at this renowned National Museum, where there are displays of early man, tribal regalia and flora and fauna of Kenya.
Day 05: Nairobi (4-6hrs)
At 0900hrs, continue city tour by a visit to Sheldrick elephant orphanage, the Giraffe Centre and later Karen Blixen Museum, and the Bomas of Kenya that offers a tour of traditional homesteads reflecting Kenya’s cocktail of cultures that have been faithfully recreated for visitors to witness rural village life. Lunch at a city restaurant.
